Pokémon Starters!

Well, I’m a big Pokémon geek, for some reason I don’t tire of this franchise even though it have been basically the same since 1996 and the design on the monsters is going in the wrong direction.
For various reasons I started to sketch gen.1 Pokémon starters and it for some reason I decided to make a sketch of every starter (including Eevee since it’s the rival’s starter in Yellow).

I’m going to update this picture later on, firstly because it’s a quick sketch and polish is something good. Secondly, because Bulbasaur and Charmander are basically copied directly from the official art. Thirdly, some of the starts share the same pose and looks a bit odd

My favorite starters of every generation are...
1. Bulbasaur, basically it’s a toad with a huge bulb on its back, do I need to say more? I also like all the stages of evolution, Venusaur is my all time favorite Pokémon.

2. Cyndaquil , its some kind of weird Mole-Echidna, but it’s so darn cute. The evolutions aren’t that great but they are okay

3. Mudkip. I fancy amphibian animals, so of course I like the newt starter that have earned his own meme

I haven’t played “Pearl, Diamond, Platinum” so I can’t say that I like any of them, but Piplup has the most “decent” evolution (I don’t like the look of the gen.4 starters final evolution , they are to stylish, they don’t look like animals anymore).
Since I don’t know how the final form of the starters of generation-5 looks like I haven’t decide which starter I will use, but its leaning towards Pokabu, since he look like Ryoga from Ranmna½
